Each workout lasts the length of the song paired with it. So put on your sports anime playlist and let’s go!

You don’t need ANY equipment for this routine - heck, you can do this in bare feet and pajamas if you want to! It doesn’t take much room, either, so it’s perfect if you’re stuck in a tiny dorm or otherwise small living space.

Try to rest as little as possible between each move to finish when the song does. If you find yourself wanting to quit, don’t give up! Remember, Onoda didn’t quit when he had to pass 100 other racers to reach the rest of Sohoku, and neither did Seirin when they were facing Yosen and it seemed like all was lost. Push yourself to be the very best you can be!

PLAYLIST

Cardio: Yowamushi Pedal - "Be As One"
Strength: Kuroko no Basket - "Fantastic Tune"
Freestyle: Free! Iwatobi Swim Club - "Rage On"
Launch: Haikyuu!! - "Tenchi Gaeshi"

And if you’ve still got energy left and feel like you can keep going, feel free to hit the bonus round:

Cardio Burnout: Shingeki no Kyojin - "Guren no Yumiya"

It’s not sports anime, but you will feel like a total badass who can slay Titans by the time you’re done.

Fruit on Keto?

thelittlelionheartedgirl:

I keep seeing mixed reviews about eating berries while on Keto. I know it contributes to your daily carb count and should be considered a treat, but does it badly effect your progress? Should they be completely avoided and considered a cheat?

My mom’s making…

Coming from someone that was ON a ketosis diet for about 2 months.. No fruit will not sabotage your ketosis.. the AMOUNT of fruit will, however. I remember that in a day i could enjoy 1 apple and 5 strawberries with NO problems. Then again, my diet only allowed me 1 fruit 1 veg and 100g meat with every meal (in addition to a mandatory “salad” which was lettuce, the vegetable I chose, and some lemon juice and balsamic vinegar). As long as you stay at or below your daily carb limit, you should stay in ketosis.

Thanks for the answer! Did you find ketosis worked for you in those two months? How was easing out of it, eventually?

My mom’s making watermelon salad for the 4th tonight and I’m going to be so sad if I can’t eat that, too…

That depends on your goals. Eating even a little bit of fruit will likely knock you out of ketosis. If you don’t mind being side tracked for a few days, then by all means enjoy a day off and work on getting back into keto later. If you’re super stingy about your goals and don’t want anything interfering with your state of keto, then skip the fruit.

Yes, knocking you out of keto will have an effect on your progress. Is it a significant effect on a body builder with a 12 week deadline? Yes. Professional athletes don’t cheat on their programs.

Is it a significant effect on you—someone who’s just trying to shed some extra pounds? No. Ultimately it just comes down to how strict you want to be with your keto regime.

Thanks for the answer! You’re right to assume that I don’t have a strict deadline currently besides just being able to feel good about myself at my cousin’s wedding come August and eventually getting back to a weight I feel happy and confident at. Of course I would love for it to be sooner rather then later, but I appreciate that you said it was fine to enjoy the fruit for a day as long as it’s recognized that it’s a treat.

Seeing as you follow paleo but are knowledgable about keto, would you recommend doing keto to lose weight and then eventually switch to paleo to maintain it or follow paleo from the get-go? I avoided paleo because I read keto would allow me to have small portions of peanuts, as I am highly allergic to tree nuts and legumes have always been my alternate snack…

Cranberry Cherry Popsicles from Vegan in the Freezer:

  • 2 cups frozen cherries
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 4 Tbsp. maple syrup

Add all of the cherries and juice to you food processor.

Blend for 30 seconds and add the maple syrup.

Process some more until the consistency your like. I like my popsicles close to a juice so I go about a minute.

That is it.

Pour into you popsicle molds and freeze at least 6 hours.
